This beautiful rural setting with closed to traffic cycle course is a true test for competitors of all abilities\, whether first time novice or experienced club and age group triathlete. The swim in Powell’s Pool seen at the Commonwealth Games Triathlon 2022\, is a perfect setting for the start of a memorable triathlon experience. \nWhether you want to “Tri a Triathlon” or are an experienced triathlete\, The Birmingham Triathlon has challenging distances for all abilities. \nSwim\, Cycle and Run in the wilderness within an urban environment at Sutton Park\, with its captivating scenery via the accessible network of roads and paths. \n\nEvent course within Sutton Park\, one of the largest urban parklands in Europe covering 2\,400 acres\nOpen water swim in Powell’s Pool\, the largest lake in the park at 48 acres\nClosed to traffic bike course within the park\nRural run through heathland & ancient woodland\nEntries open to 14+ yr olds in the Sprint\, Super Sprint & Fun distances\nFinishers medal for everyone\n\nYou can enter and complete the entire swim\, bike\, run triathlon yourself or as part of a relay team of 2 or 3 and share the challenge of swim\, bike\, run!\nWe just need the team captains info to complete an entry form and your team is good to go!\n\n\n\n\nOlympic & Relay:\n1500m swim – 40k cycle – 10k run\n\n\nSprint & Relay:\n750m swim – 20k cycle – 5k run\n\n\nSuper Sprint & Fun:\n200m swim – 10k cycle – 2.5k run
