Thanks to some great runs by the 30 BRATs who raced, we find ourselves in 4th place out of the 16 teams in Division 1, with only Loughborough Students, Birmingham University and Coventry Godiva ahead of us. Our score of 281 is probably the best in the Club’s history in the top division. Our B Team is also in 4th place in the B team competition so it was a successful day all round.

Well done to everyone who turned out - you were part of a memorable day for the Club. Hope you all enjoyed it. And remember it’s not just the first 12 home who affect the scores. Every BRAT can improve our result by finishing ahead of counting runners from other clubs, and at the end of the season every point counts. (Worcester’s A team were counting runners down to 170th place, and B teams were counting down as far as 236th place.)

More good news folks; following last month’s Half Marathon, it has just been announced by the organisers Nova International that BRAT Club have won the team prize for the event.

Arrangements have been made for the presentation to take place on the evening of Monday 26th November just before the start of the road running session at the MAC. This will be in the Performance Studio in the MAC starting at 6.45 pm. Everybody welcome, the more the better.
