BRAT Club Junior Success at County XC Championships

Warley Woods – Saturday 13th December 2025

It was a fantastic day of racing at Warley Woods for the combined Worcestershire and Warwickshire County Cross Country Championships. BRAT Club’s junior athletes turned out in force, delivering standout performances across the age groups. From individual battles to dominant team victories, our young runners did the club proud in challenging winter conditions.

Here is a roundup of the action from the Under 11 to Under 17 categories.

Under 11 Boys: Warwickshire Team Champions!

The U11 Boys put in a dominant display to bring home the Warwickshire Team Gold, beating stiff competition from Stratford and Leamington.

  • Logan Pearce led the charge with a superb podium-level run for the county, finishing 5th overall (3rd Warwickshire scorer) in 05:16.
  • He was closely followed by Leo Dunigan in 7th overall, crossing the line in 05:23.
  • Lucas Sacremento Guillaume completed the scoring trio just one second later in 8th overall (6th Warwickshire scorer) with a time of 05:24.
  • Strong support came from Luke Warrener (18th), Oliver Brooks (38th), and Walter Slegg-Newton (39th).

Team Result: 🥇 1st Place – BRAT Club (14 points) – Logan Pearce, Leo Dunigan, Lucas Sacremento Guillaume.


Under 11 Girls: Team Silver

Our U11 Girls packed well to secure a brilliant Team Silver in the Warwickshire standings.

  • Nova-Annalise Saltmarsh was the first BRAT athlete home in 7th overall, clocking 05:54.
  • Nina McLuskie followed just seconds later in 8th place (05:58).
  • Azucena Cereceda completed the scoring team in 10th place (9th Warwickshire scorer) with a time of 06:01.
  • Great running also came from April Tweedie, Evie Drumm, Anna Horner, and Isabelle Beier, showing the depth of our squad.

Team Result: 🥈 2nd Place – BRAT Club (22 points) – Nova-Annalise Saltmarsh, Nina McLuskie, Azucena Cereceda.


Under 13 Boys

In the U13 Boys race, the team battled hard to finish 4th in the Warwickshire standings.

  • Anaadh Singh led the team, finishing 12th overall (11th Warwickshire scorer) in 11:17.
  • Charlie Keenan was hot on his heels in 15th place (13th Warwickshire scorer) with a time of 11:33.
  • Thomas Woodward rounded out the top three scorers in 21st place (17th Warwickshire scorer) in 11:52.
  • Strong runs were also recorded by Sebastian Emery and Alex Bone.

Team Result: 4th Place – BRAT Club (41 points) – Anaadh Singh, Charlie Keenan, Thomas Woodward.


Under 13 Girls

The U13 Girls faced stiff competition but put in a spirited performance on the day.

  • Sophie McKinnon was the first BRAT finisher, crossing the line in 23rd place (15th Warwickshire scorer) in 12:02.
  • Sophia Ratnasliriya followed in 35th place (27th Warwickshire scorer) with a time of 13:22.

Under 15 Boys: Team Silver

The U15 Boys secured another podium for the club, taking Team Silver in the Warwickshire competition behind Solihull & Small Heath.

  • Noah Gordon led the way with a strong 7th place overall (6th Warwickshire scorer) finish in 14:31.
  • Ben Eden produced a top-10 Warwickshire performance, finishing 12th overall (10th Warwickshire scorer) in 14:58.
  • Christian Middleton was close behind in 14th place (12th Warwickshire scorer) with a time of 15:01.
  • Mustopha Bailey and Max Bone also ran well to complete the BRAT lineup.

Team Result: 🥈 2nd Place – BRAT Club (28 points) – Noah Gordon, Ben Eden, Christian Middleton.


Under 15 Girls

  • Isabel Pickering represented the club in the U15 Girls race, finishing in 30th place (23rd Warwickshire scorer) with a time of 20:21.
  • Eva Asanga also ran well, completing the course in 23:19.

Under 17 Men

The U17 Men’s team put in a solid shift to finish 4th in the Warwickshire team standings.

  • Evan Tomlinson was the standout performer, crossing the line in 9th place overall (8th Warwickshire scorer) in 20:29.
  • Josh Taylor followed in 15th place (13th Warwickshire scorer) with a time of 21:16.
  • Tom Kingsbury (21st overall) and Diego Dalmedo (33rd overall) also ran strongly, with Seb Horton rounding out the squad.

Team Result: 4th Place – BRAT Club (38 points) – Evan Tomlinson, Josh Taylor, Tom Kingsbury.


Under 17 Women: Warwickshire Team Gold!

The U17 Women capped off a successful day by winning the Warwickshire Team Gold, with a fantastic display of packing at the front of the field to beat Royal Sutton Coldfield.

  • Arriella Dalmedo led the team home in 7th place overall (7th Warwickshire scorer) in 20:15.
  • Amira Emery was right behind her in 8th place (8th Warwickshire scorer), clocking 20:27.
  • Alba Smith Pena completed the winning trio in 10th place overall (10th Warwickshire scorer) with a time of 21:29.
  • Lily O’Mara also ran a great race to finish 15th overall.

Team Result: 🥇 1st Place – BRAT Club (25 points) – Arriella Dalmedo, Amira Emery, Alba Smith Pena.
