Adult Athletic Sessions

Adult track training sessions are based at the University of Birmingham Track in Edgbaston, B15 2RA
If you have any concerns about your health or if you are exhibiting any Covid-like symptoms, please do not come to the sessions.

Senior Endurance at UoB Track B15 2RA 7:00pm drills for 7:15pm start (Steve+Richard) – meet at 1500m start No jogging at track – please warm up on road.

Time: 18:30 – 19:00

Skill level: Beginner

This is a beginner track session and is open to all abilities. It’s a great opportunity to start to build experience of running on the track and learning how to gradually build up your running speed. It is a coached session comprising a warm up, some drills, a set of intervals and a cool down/stretch. As the main set is intervals, you can do as much or as little as you want – it really is open to everyone!

If you are wondering why these sessions are important well, they help to build up your core strength and flexibility over the winter. Help increase your speed, endurance and all-round fitness levels. Finally, those who have done these sessions in previous years have for the most part avoided injury in the season that follows.
