The Action Heart ‘Tuff-Un’ returned again this year with another muddy challenge. The race is off-road and takes in 6+ miles of mud, sweat and tiers within in the confines of Baggeridge Country Park. The course has a bit of everything with single tracks, hills, a little mud and a shallow stream crossing.
As is traditional BRAT turned up in force and took the award for the most participants from one club, an award we have taken since it’s inception.
The morning of the race was cold and cloudy but the rain held off long enough for everyone to finish without getting even more wet. In spite of the lack of rain recently the clay pit was as muddy as ever with the traditional loss of footwear taking place.
Check out the full results here; the standout performances for BRAT were:
- Robin Biles was fastest vet and second overall
- Dylan Teasdale was 3rd overall and won the U20 catagory
- Emily Jones came in 2nd female
