A contingent of BRAT attended the Wrexham Village Bakery Half Marathon with BRATs own athleete Karl Welborn finishing second overall in a time of 1:07:54. This time broke a 30 year club V40 record.
Not only did Karl run a great race, on his way back to the car he spotted an athlete who had collapsed and was trying desperately to get to the finish. Karl threw the Shrewsbury AC athlete over his shoulders and helped him get through the final 400m.
Well done Karl. Onwards towards London marathon. However first the Midland road relays.
